Meet the Team
After spending over twenty years as a sales rep, manager and Director of Sales for major medical device companies and start-ups, Bob started Medcruiters in 2003. As president of the company he works directly with candidates looking for new opportunities and with managers who are building sales forces across the country. His focus is primarily in the areas of interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine and peripheral vascular intervention.
A former teacher, Andrea has been the CFO of Medcruiters since the business started. She handles all administrative and financial transactions, as well as assists in various searches.
Cara started working for Medcruiters as a high school student, performing a variety of office duties. After graduating from the University of Delaware, with a BS in Marketing, Cara worked as a Customer Service Rep in banking. She got the opportunity to use her Marketing degree when she spent three years working for a medical marketing company before joining Medcruiters as a full time recruiter this past summer.
Manny has spent over 20 years in the medical device space in varying roles. Beginning first as a medical device sales representative then Sales Manager and next Region Director where he supervised 6 managers and 49 sales representatives. Following that Manny became Director of Sales Operations, and as a part of that role ran a World Wide Training Program for the US, Asia Pacific Latin America.
Sara Jay has worked in the medical device industry for the last 25 years. She started her career as a cardiovascular technologist, transitioned to clinical support, and then to coronary sales at Guidant Corporation, where she was a top performer for 10 years. After Guidant, Sara worked at numerous startups, including Foxhollow Technologies, Asthmatx, Entellus Medical, and Spiracur. Prior to joining MedCruiters, Sara worked at Covidien Peripheral Vascular. Sara‘s great relationships and exceptional knowledge of the industry ensures that she’ll find the best match for your needs.
Clay has spent over 25 years in the medical device field. I have hired, trained and built multiple sales and marketing teams from scratch for large and small start up companies. Four of the companies I designed and implemented comprehensive medical device sales training programs that focused on initial and advanced sales training.
My primary clinical expertise/focus are in the areas of endovascular, AAA/TAA, Neurovascular, interventional cardiology and the breast cancer space. Lastly, have worked w Bob McKeefrey for many years helping to put together most of my sales and marketing teams.
Bob is a 30+ year veteran of the medical device industry. He has held positions in sales and management with Boston Scientific, St Jude, Guidant and Abbott. His tenure has included experience in Interventional Cardiology, Endovascular, Interventional Radiology, CRM and Cardiac Surgery. Most recently Bob has been principal with RJS Medical.
Craig has had a successful award winning sales and sales management career spanning 32 years. Craig’s career includes sales
and sales management at various medical device companies; such as Boston Scientific, Coopervision Surgical, Acuson, Novoste, EV3, Hansen Medical, Calypso Medical, and Lombard Medical.
Craig has led sales organizations as a Sales Director and Regional Sales Manager where his proven leadership skills, strategic planning, and business development acumen; led to consistent sales overachievement. Specialties: Craig had success and expertise introducing new technologies into established markets. Craig had experience in the integration of sales teams, sales forecasting, and compensation. Experience working closely with KOL’s in developing and refining products to the marketplace.
Craig’s focus is in the areas of interventional cardiology, vascular surgery, electro-physiology, peripheral vascular, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, ophthalmology, and urology.
